I primarily use twitter, using jaiku primarily as a lifestream - I suspect many people are the same way - jaiku looked like a twitter killer, but seems to have lost steam with the google acquisition - too bad too, because the commenting feature is nice (this conversation is a good example :-)

LOL... that seems the normal state with Jaiku at the moment. All the people I know on Jaiku have updates days or weeks old. :(

Agreed. I particularly like the Mobile client on my phone. But the loss of steam is really a killer. :(
